You can also take the railcar to Looe from Causeland Halt, close by Badham Farm, and travel along the picturesque Looe Valley Line down to the sea. The railcar service operates between Liskeard and Looe and stops on request at Causeland Halt, adjacent to the grounds of Badham Farm, making us directly accessible by train from any part of the UK. The service runs, in either direction, on an approximately hourly interval during the summer season. Guests can enjoy car free days out and use the train to visit many parts of Cornwall and ride on other scenic rail routes such as the Tamar Valley Line. Tickets are purchased on the railcar from the conductor and prices are very reasonable.

Badham Farm is also a great centre for those who enjoy walking and rambling as the local area is steeped in history with a concentration of historic churches - some over 1000 years old. The Celtic influence can be seen all over South East Cornwall and you can enjoy walking in scented pine forests or along some of the finest coastal walks in England with spectacular views and usually a welcoming Inn at the end of your journey.

Bodmin moor, with its miles of beautiful rugged moorland and magnificent granite tors, is ideal for walking and horse riding and has a wealth of prehistoric remains, such as the burial chamber at Trethevy Quoit and ancient standing stone circles called The Hurlers near the old mining village of Minions where you will also find a fascinating Mining Heritage Centre in a partially restored engine house.
