January 2011

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OUR GUESTS- PAST & PRESENT & FUTURE.

Christmas and New Year were very busy and we had relief from the snow & ice just in time.

In december we were busy doing more work on site cutting back trees to open up views for our guests.

We did suffer a couple of Wiki Leaks  as a result of the hard frost.

For the bird watchers exciting news - we have a Bittern now visiting Woodland pool every day. RSPB estimate only 150 in the UK so quite exciting for us. The Teasel we left by the bar has 5 Goldfinches feeding off it every day and 1 Gold Crest. Regular Visitors to the feeding station include Nut Hatches, Spotted Woodpeckers and loads of Long Tail Tits, as well as Blue, Willow, and Great Tits.

Fortunately, for us bookings are starting to roll in for 2011 - so if you are intending to visit Badham farm in 2011 it may be best to book early to get the dates you want.

SATURDAY 8 JANUARY 2011.
